  • Good day everyone,

I wanted to join this forum to get more information on the car and other mods than the ones documented on the english forum.

    I bought a 2007 Saphire Silver Blue, Limited, 6 speed in July 2017. 56 000 miles.

I'm enjoying the car and I want to mod it a lot.

As of yet i just got myself

    • an Atiwe 365 mm steering wheel with the hub for the Crossfire.
    • a new aftermarket shift knob and boot.
    • a Sprint booster.

I haven't had the time to install any of these yet.

    I also want to do:

    • Vogtland springs, with the thinnest spring pads for the front and rear.
    • Bilstein B6s for the front (they don't make B8s for the front) and B8s for the rear.
    • C32/C55 AMG brembo brakes.
    • 3.7 swap from an ML350 with all the n/a mods like NW dual cai intake, throttle body, tune and more.
    • Change the resonator on the exhaust for something a bit less quiet.
    • Buy aftermarket rotary forged wheels.
    • Put a SRT6 front bumper on the car.
    • Flip out single din touch screen with licence plate frame back-up camera.
    • Wavetrac or Quaife LSD.
    • H&R rear sway bar.
    • Change the background of the gauges.
    • AND *If do-able hydraulic power steering swap*.

What I have fixed so far:

    • The valve cover/breather cover leak.
    • I got tires, 4 new Continental Extreme Contact Sport.
    • Refurbished the rear speakers with rubber surrounds for longevity.
    • Oil change

    What needs to be fixed:

    • It needs new front sway bar bushings, I will replace the ball joints, tie rods and steering damper at the same time.
    • It needs more maintenance like a new fuel filter and new spark plugs.
    • Fluids flush.
  • Hello Alexandre,

welcome to the Chrysler Crossfire Forum.

Seems you like to have some to do's. ;)

Vogtland springs: why the thinnest spring pads? Ride height depends on spring rate and length of the spring.
C32 / C55 brakes: they are not Brembo brakes, just TRW calipers and pads. Best is to use the SRT6 brakes – no problems at all.
Steering rack swap / conversion: good luck!

Always fun to see people modify their Crossfire. And mostly funny what some guys in the US forums do to "improve" their cars.

So the C32 brakes are only branded as Brembos?

The thinner spring pads are more likely to have the most direct steering/suspension feel.
